The Pioneer Woman knows a thing or two about cowboy boots. After all, life on Drummond Ranch calls for plenty of Western flair on the feet. There's classic brown leather styles, colorful suede options, boots with rounded toes, boots with pointy toes, boots with square toes, and everything in between! And now, there's even cowboy boots made by Crocs!

Yes, you read that right. The comfort shoe company has officially released their most controversial product yet in the form of its iconic clog gone country. The Crocs Classic Cowboy Boot is complete with a signature Crocskin texture, metallic Western-inspired embroidery details, and even a (removable) spinning spur on the backstrap. You'll get the same comfy feel as classic Crocs thanks to their Croslite footbeds as well as vent holes for breathability. Plus, each pair includes a Croc Star Jibbitz charm and a 2023 Cowboy Duke Jibbitz charm. That's enough to make you say "yeehaw," right?

Well.... maybe. You (along with a large part of the internet) may be wondering why exactly this shoe was even put on the shelf. After all, it's half-Croc, half-cowboy boot. Which, before the Crocs announcement, was basically inconceivable. But apparently, the boot is completely based on the wishes of fans!

Yep! They're weird, they're western, and well, they're very much wanted! The limited-edition boot is all part of "Croctober," a month-long event dedicated to the Crocs fan base. According to a press release, "For years, the buzz around a Crocs-inspired cowboy boot has been building, creating a genuine fan-fueled movement trending across social media. Recognizing this passion, Crocs is making fan dreams come true, turning the Crocs Classic Cowboy Boot into a reality: a testament to the brand's commitment to and celebration of Croc Nation."

Whether you love them or hate them, there's no doubt the boot is having its moment—however bizarre that moment may be. And while you might not want to wear them while attending to ranch duties, they'll definitely make a fun fashion statement... or at the very least, an interesting conversation piece.

One reviewer writes, "So I wore these bad boys to a hoedown, and let me tell you, I've never seen so many bewildered faces in my life. Cowboys gave me side-eye like I'd just ridden in on a unicorn, and the Crocs enthusiasts were deeply disturbed by the sudden urge to square dance." That pretty much describes our mix of emotions when it comes to this viral oddity. 😆 What about you?

If you're intrigued, the boots are on sale now for a limited time at select Crocs retail stores and the Crocs website in both women's and men's sizes. Check them out, then let us know in the comments whether or not you would wear them!
