Viola Davis Brings Disco Curls to the Oscars Red Carpet

For the Oscars 2018, Viola Davis slicked her voluminous curls back into a dramatic, disco-inspired look, complete with bold false lashes and blue eye shadow.

Viola Davis continues to bring the looks to the red carpet this awards season. After blessing us with one of our favorite beauty moments at the Golden Globes, the actress is back with another stunning look. For the Oscars 2018, Davis brought a disco-inspired fantasy to the red carpet, complete with voluminous curls, dramatic falsies, and blue smoky eye makeup.

Hairstylist Jamika Wilson created a sleek center part and gathered Davis' hair toward the back of her head. Then, she amped up the How to Get Away With Murder star's natural volume with the help of some luscious, long extensions styled into loose curls. To say the look is stunning is an understatement. It's an incredible follow-up to the magnificent 'fro she's been rocking lately.

The slicked-back hair was the perfect pairing for the spiky false lashes makeup artist Sergio Lopez-Rivera applied for the big night. These babies are anything but subtle. They're so long and dramatic that they curl all the way up to her brows. The curlier the lashes, the closer to God, we guess. While her eye makeup for the Golden Globes was all about warm, sunset hues, her Oscars eye shadow is on the cooler side with a steely blue shade swept all over her lids. Lopez-Rivera also topped Davis' cheekbones with a rose gold highlighter that made the actress's luminous skin look blindingly bright.

Davis' complete beauty look was complemented by a gorgeous bubblegum pink dress and lots and lots diamonds. The duo is giving me major Gentlemen Prefer Blondes vibes, and I'm living for it. Except in this case, they prefer gals with much darker hair and curls galore.
