‘The View’ Star Whoopi Goldberg Calls Out Joy Behar Over Her On-Air Camera Fail

From Cosmopolitan

  • The View season 23 wrapped up with a hilarious clip full of cohost work-from-home bloopers.

  • Joy Behar was front and center in the video after her camera nearly tumbled onto the floor during a segment.

  • Whoopi Goldberg made a funny quip after Joy’s on-camera blunder.

Between her DIY hair coloring snafu and dropping the camera moments before going live, Joy Behar has encountered quite a few work-from-home struggles over the past few months—and The View isn’t letting her forget it.

To close out season 23 of the ABC daytime program, producers compiled a hilarious video of work-from-home bloopers from the past few months. While the two-minute clip poked fun at all the cohosts (like when Whoopi Goldberg’s phone rang in the middle of a segment, Meghan McCain was talking about her gray roots, and Sunny Hostin’s son, Gabriel, popped up onscreen), many of the bloopers involved Joy.

Perhaps most hilariously, we can see Joy’s camera nearly drop to the floor around the 2:20 mark. Thankfully, she recovered just fine…but Whoopi wasn’t going to let her “oops” moment go unnoticed.

“So now we know, Joy can’t have anything else to drink today,” she quipped to Sunny and Sara Haines, who was temporarily on the show earlier this year.

Clearly, the cohosts weren’t the only ones who got a kick out of the bloopers video. “This made my whole day 😂. I love Joy!😆❤️,” one fan commented on the Youtube clip. “This is fun, thanks for sharing. Everyone has struggles in life sometimes, it’s best to just laugh about it!” another said. Another fan declared, “Guys, this made us laugh so hard. 😅😂🤣😆😆 #SeeingUsThroughThePandemic🙌❤️❤️❤️”

For now, this video will have to last us through the month of August, as Whoopi, Sunny, Meghan, and Joy are on a break before starting up a new season after Labor Day. Not to worry though—we’re sure there will be plenty more hilarious moments from Joy and the rest of the cast when the cameras start rolling again later this summer.
