Vietnam To Welcome Its First Waldorf Astoria Hotel

Vietnam will soon have its very first Waldorf Astoria. It will be one of the city’s only true luxury hotels and just one of 10 hotels Hilton has promised to open in Vietnam over the next few years as it more than doubles its presence in Asia Pacific.

According to One Mile at a Time, the luxury Hilton brand hotel is scheduled to open its new hotel in Hanoi in 2025.

The Hanoi Waldorf Astoria Hanoi will have 187 guestrooms and four restaurants, one of which will be the brand’s signature Peacock Alley.

There will also be two other restaurants along with a rooftop lounge. Additional features will include a pool, fitness center, and spa, as well as more than 1,000 square meters of event space.

Ideal location

The hotel will be situated close to a number of attractions, including Trang Tien Plaza, Ba Dinh Square, and the National Museum of Vietnamese History.

It will be a 40-minute drive from Noi Bai International Airport, and close to Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi’s Old Quarter, at the location of the current Hilton Hanoi Opera.

The Hilton Hanoi Opera, which opened in 1999, will be closing on December 1 and completely redesigned for its conversion into the new hotel.
