VIDEO: Watch World Champ Filipe Toledo's Best Surf Sessions from Last Year

Brazil's Fillipe Toledo is the reigning world champ.

He's only the seventh male surfer to claim a world title back-to-back, sharing the claim to fame with Mark Richards, Tom Carroll, Tom Curren, Kelly Slater, Andy Irons, and John John Florence.

Since he clenched the title in September, he's laid kind of low. He dropped one new episode of his YouTube series, "Peace & Power." He showed up to surf Kelly Slater's new wave pool, Surf Abu Dhabi, and teamed up with Wavegarden to spearhead a new wave pool in São Paulo, Brazil. And today, Toledo released a compilation of his best surf sessions from 2023 for your viewing pleasure.

Toledo's latest edit above is captioned:

"2023 wrapped with Filipe Toledo's best free surfing sessions vibing around the globe during his short breaks in the pursuit of the back-to-back world surfing championships."

It's just under 10 minutes long and a surf video in its purest form. No dialogue. Loud, fast music. Non-stop clips of Toledo destroying wave after wave.
