Video: Watch the Best Barrels from the Lexus Pipe Pro Opening Day

Day one of the Lexus Pipe Pro kicked off on Wednesday, marking the start of the World Surf League's 2024 Championship Tour season.

The waves were firing with six-to-eight-foot surf dominated by some of the world's best surfers as the men completed their first round.

Although the contest was called off today, day one footage worth watching is still surfacing, such as the video below.

The video above was posted by Surfers of Hawaii and captioned:

"Lexus Pipe Pro Best Rides Of Day 1 (4K Raw) Excellent Rides.

"Filmed on January 31, 2024 at Pipeline on the North Shore of Oahu. Day one of the Lexus Pipe Pro was amazing.

"Near perfect wind and swell conditions all day with waves heights in the 6-10 ft range. This is the first stop of the World Surf League Championship Tour so all the best surfers are at Pipe looking to get the year on a roll.

"Watch as they battle it out to advance to the round of 32."

The video's just pure surfing, with 11 minutes of non-stop perfect barrels ridden by an all-star cast of surfers.
