This Video Ryan Reynolds Took of Blake Lively at the Hospital Is Hilarious

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are back at it with their social media trolling. Lively had previously wiped everything off her Instagram account to promote her upcoming film The Rhythm Section. But she's started de-archiving a few iconic gems, including a recent birthday post to Reynolds. She also shared a new classic: a hysterical video that Reynolds recorded when Lively was in the hospital, recovering from a hand injury she got on the set of The Rhythm Section.

Lively uploaded the footage to her Instagram Story this week. It features her lying in a hospital bed as the song "Wild Thing" plays. "Literally 4 weeks after I said, 'I'd give my right hand to be in this movie!' (Good thing no one told me to 'break a leg')," she joked in text over the video. "My husband somehow knew 'Wild Thing' would be my version of smelling salts. I've never felt so seen. 😍 Or high. Also....I have zero recollection of this."

It's funny now, but Lively's Rhythm Section injury was actually scary when it happened. According to the Hollywood Reporter, production on the film stopped in January 2017 after Lively got hurt on the set. Luckily, she had Reynolds to look out for her during recovery—and also troll her while documenting the entire thing on video.

The trailer for The Rhythm Section dropped in September 2019, and it's shaping up to be a thriller with a ton of wig changes. It's based on a novel by Mark Burnell and sees Lively going full revenge fantasy, chasing down killers who murdered her character's family. It hits theaters January 31, 2020.

It's been a busy year for Lively and Reynolds, who welcomed their third child in August. (However, reports about the baby didn't emerge until October.)
