Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively showed up on the 2022 Met Gala red carpet, and a couple of things: (1) They actually dressed for the theme (“Gilded Glamour,” duh), bless, and (2) Ryan’s reaction to Blake’s color-changing Versace gown was truly too sweet for words.

First of all, this is Blake’s (gorgeous, stunning, lovely, perfect) dress in case you missed it:

And by now, you’ve probably seen photos where it appears the dress is changing colors….

Turns out, the dress (which was Blake’s ode to the Statue of Liberty) had a top layer that was removed by a dexterous crew of folks halfway up the stairs. Watch the stunning and unexpected reveal in the video below:
