Video: Nate Slater Goes Huge in "Inertia"

Vancouver Island is home to some incredible riding. Though it gets less attention than the mainland of BC, the island has a dedicated group of builders and riders and has produced some of mountain biking's biggest names like Jordie Lunn and Stevie Smith.

Watch Nate Slater ride one of his builds on the island in “Inertia” below.

In this video, Slater rode a pristine jump line through the ferns. Perhaps the most impressive shot in the edit is the enormous river gap from the side. The angle really does justice to how big the drop is and how flat the landing is.

Some of the best edits are people riding their own builds. Nate’s instagram is populated with footage of what looks like hours of building the jumps from this video. It was great to see his hard work bear fruit.

"Inertia" was filmed and edited by Max McCulloch.
