Video of Golden Retriever Sneaking Into Neighbor's Pool Is Quickly Going Viral

Aside from every kid asking for a pet during their childhood, they more than likely also asked for a pool. Heck, we're still asking for a pool as an adult so we can cool off from the summer heat in our own backyard. Believe it or not, dogs ask for the same.

TikTok user @errieting captured her Golden Retriever sneaking into the neighbor's yard for their pool. Honestly, have you seen anything more relatable? It's no wonder the video, which was posted on Friday, August 4, is already going viral.

O.M.G. This video singlehandedly made our entire month. First of all, how on earth did this dog learn to sneak over into the neighbor's yard? He must've seen someone else do it first. LOL! And secondly, we can't get over how he splashes in the water. He's just like a little kid!

"If I was at work and saw this on my Ring cameras, I'd be screaming let him stay!!" said @peacie223. The creator wrote in the comment section that this neighbor thinks her dog is adorable and that they have two Labradors of their own. Sounds like a future pool playdate is around the corner! We'll come to supervise. LOL!

As adorable as this clip is, we're more thankful this owner caught the dog sneaking into the pool than anything. Even if a dog swims every day, you should always keep an eye on them just as you would a child. Swimming can be very tiring and believe it or not, all dogs aren't born knowing how to swim. Some breeds are natural-born swimmers that were bred to excel in water like Golden Retrievers and Labs. On the other hand, there are dog breeds that are more likely to sink because of their heavy-fronted bodies or short legs like Bulldogs. It's better to be safe than sorry and keep watch when your fur babies play in water.
