Elizabeth Warren wows voters by running 'like Usain Bolt' to catch a train: 'Let's see Trump do that'

When Elizabeth Warren announced that she’s running for president, she really meant it.

A video of the 2020 presidential candidate — who was in New York City to appear on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert — sprinting to catch her train at Penn Station on Monday has gone viral thanks to TMZ. The gossip outlet eventually caught up with the 69-year-old Massachusetts senator, praising her for “running through the crowd like Usain Bolt.”

TMZ also noted that when they stopped to interview Warren about the Mueller report, she “wasn’t out of breath.”

The mad dash is earning the Democrat some major props on social media, prompting her to issue this clever quip: “Try and keep up.”

While it’s still anyone’s guess as to who will emerge as the Democrat Party’s nominee for 2020, if the presidential race were an actual race, Warren would certainly stand a decent chance of leaving her opponents in the dust.

Maybe it’s time for Beto to start lacing up his sneakers?
