The Born To Run Ultramarathons in Los Olivos, California, includes races of a variety of distances: 10-mile, 30-mile, 60-mile, 100-mile, and even four-day long events.

But this year, the series added one more race: the Born To Adapt 3-hour run. The brainchild of adaptive athlete Zach Friedley and race director Luis Escobar, the event is one of the first trail races specifically designed and intended for adaptive athletes of all kinds and abilities.

Captured by Evan Staley, this new short documentary tells the incredible story of a community seeking true inclusion on the trails.
