Earlier this morning, Victoria Beckham’s contributions to the British fashion industry were honored at Buckingham Palace. The designer and onetime pop superstar has made waves with her eponymous clothing line. Naturally, for her Order of the British Empire ceremony, Beckham opted for one of her trademark knit dresses, keeping in line with her modern take on ladylike dressing: cozy and chic.
The midnight blue knit had a slight body-skimming fit, but was given a dose of Beckham’s cool, minimal girl vibe through dart detailing and a flounced hem. Grounding the look were her signature sky-high stilettos for a subdued and sophisticated finish—or dare we say posh?
