Victoria Beckham on Meghan Markle's Wedding Dress

Victoria Beckham, two-time royal wedding attendee, fashion designer, Spice Girl, and overall Wonder Woman shared some thoughts about Meghan Markle's wedding dress. As someone who saw it in real life, she said the custom Givenchy gown was (shocker) "absolutely beautiful."

“It really suited her,” Beckham told the Evening Standard in an interview published Wednesday. “I thought it was perfect for her. And Harry looked great.”

For a while, people speculated that Beckham herself would design the dress, but she got to take a back seat at this "beautiful, incredible wedding" and just enjoy it.

“It was just the best day," she said "They looked so happy, and everybody was just so happy for them. Meghan seems like a genuinely lovely woman, who really loves him. It felt very real, very honest.”

The Beckhams also attended Kate and Will's nuptials in 2011, and Victoria was seven months pregnant at the time with their daughter Harper.

“Quite honestly, it was such a relief not to be hugely pregnant at this royal wedding that it was a joy to be able to choose anything I wanted to wear,” she said. “I love a bit of navy. The dress is one of my favorites: it isn’t in store until November, but we’ve had so many inquiries about it that I’m seeing whether I can bring it forward.”
