Victoria Beckham Brings Her English Wit To Another Funny Slogan Tee
Victoria Beckham is rarely seen without her bold sunglasses. And earlier today in London, while presenting her Victoria, Victoria Beckham collection, the designer introduced a new slogan tee poking fun at her habit. The “It’s A Dark But Happy Place” top, released today exclusively on Beckham’s site and Dover Street flagship store, is a cheeky follow-up to the designer’s first attempt at the statement shirt, last season’s “Fashion Stole My Smile” top.
Today’s piece follows a similar formula with black lettering emblazoned on a Beckham signature, the white T-shirt. Paired with the designer’s flared trousers, it offered a comedic twist on Beckham’s off-duty uniform. A simple vintage men’s watch tied the look together, but one element was conspicuously missing from the mix: A pair of her signature power-shield, flat-top, or elevated-aviator shades.
