It takes a lot of work to look like Victoria Beckham.

In an interview with the Guardian published Saturday, Beckham shares a lot about how she juggles her life as a mom and a mogul — including her two-hour-per-day fitness routine.

“I am very, very disciplined in the way that I work out, in what I eat. That’s how I’m happiest,” she says in the interview. “I expect a lot from my body — I’m 44, I’ve got four kids, I work a lot, I travel. For me to do all that, I have to eat healthily and work out.”

So here’s exactly how she does it: After waking up between 5:30 and 6 a.m., Beckham begins her day with 45 minutes of uphill walking, jogging and running on the treadmill. That’s followed by a workout with a trainer that includes 30 minutes of leg work, 30 minutes of arms, as well as toning and conditioning, followed by extensive core work.

“At the weekend I will do the whole thing straight through, but in the week I often jump in the car halfway through to take the kids to school, then carry on when I get home,” says Beckham, who also has her own collection of workout clothing with Reebok. “I work out every day when I’m at home, and then when I travel I really focus on work so I can get as much done as possible in a short trip and get home.”

Despite her extensive regimen, Beckham says she doesn’t dread the grueling workouts. Instead, they’re something she loves. “It’s a really positive thing for me,” she says. “That was a big part of why I wanted to work with Reebok — I had very specific ideas about the workout clothes that I wanted to wear and couldn’t find.”

While Beckham watches what she eats, and sticks to her workout routine, there is one thing she just doesn’t do: “I never cook,” she tells the Guardian, adding, David’s a really good cook.”

The diet and exercise routine of the former Spice Girl certainly sounds grueling, but there is something to be said for always doing what you “really, really want.” “It’s part of who I am now,” Beckham says of her daily workout. “And I really enjoy it.”
