Vibi Venezia has joined forces with Markarian to create a limited-edition collection inspired by its pre-fall 2024 collection.
The Italian footwear brand has dressed two of its iconic silhouettes in the intricate fabrics of Vibi Venezia’s pre-fall 2024 collection. Markarian’s designer, Alexandra O’Neill, expressed that the six-piece line was created to mesh the brand’s roots.
“For this partnership, I wanted to create a capsule of high summer pieces that can work in any wardrobe for any occasion from a summer Italian getaway to the streets of NYC,” O’Neill said.
The capsule includes two timeless styles dressed in three embroidered linens: Ali, Bibi and Lola. Each design was created to reflect the brand’s personalities.
One of the colorways featured a sheen look against a light blue fabric which was accompanied by a colorful floral design. The second design took on a pale yellow tone with metallic gold leaves bringing a shiny look to the monochromatic pattern. The third colorway featured a white background with a royal blue floral pattern that tied into the contrasting lining.
The collaboration dresses the brand’s Furlana and Mary Jane in the three colorways. The slip-on style’s binding created an indented look against the vamp. The thin strap of the Mary Jane was fastened by a silver embroidered buckle. Each set was completed by a black rubber sole.
Each piece from the Markarian x Vibi Venezia collection will retail for $210. The collaboration will be released on May 2 online on both brands’ websites.
