In the few months Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande have been together, they've both decided to permanently mark their bodies with signs of their young love. Pete may have just gotten rid of one of his earliest Ariana tattoos, though.

In June, Pete got a set bunny ears along his hairline that looked really similar to the ones Ariana wore on her "Dangerous Woman" album cover.

During his performance on Saturday Night Live this weekend, someone screenshotted a picture where it looks like Pete covered up the ears with a heart.

And then later in the weekend, paparazzi took a picture of the new/old tattoo, and Pete had added an "A" next to the new design.

So like... what is happening here? Why would Pete cover up a very obvious Ariana reference with another (likely) Ariana reference? What's so bad about the bunny ears, Pete?!

In case you had a momentary freakout that your favorite internet couple had hit a rough patch, it looks like everything is all good between the two. She was backstage at the taping this weekend and posted multiple Instagram stories. In one she even wrote that she loves pete "like Kanye loves Kanye," which obviously is a lot.
