Venom Symbiote Bonds With Wolverine, Loki In New Marvel Title

Venom Strange Wolverine

A new limited series from Marvel will look at the possibilities of the infamous Venom symbiote being rejected by Eddie Brock, and instead bonding with Wolverine, Moon Knight, Doctor Strange, She-Hulk and Loki.

What If?... Venom will be written by Jeremy Holt with art from Jesús Hervás over five issues to be released from February 2024. Marvel’s long-running What If?... titles pose alternative theories, concepts and outcomes for major characters and storylines of the established Marvel Universe.

"Having the opportunity to play within the Venom sandbox is cool,” said Holt. “Having the opportunity to bond five iconic heroes to the alien parasite is cooler."

"In doing so within the What If?... concept, I’ve had an absolute blast crafting a linear revisionist history that’s provided me the latitude to introduce distinct versions of the anti-hero that we’ve all come to love."

Venom has recently cropped up in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the highly regarded PS5 game that many are calling the best superhero game ever.
