Venom 3 Gets New Name, Brings Release Date Forward

Goodbye, Venom 3. Hello, Venom: The Last Dance.

That’s the new name of Tom Hardy’s third outing as the brain-chomping Spider-Man villain.

It may share its title with the final Magic Mike film, but the crossover will almost certainly end there. Not much is known about Venom: The Last Dance, but a set leak last year confirmed the existence of a sequence set during Mexico’s Day of the Dead festival.

Also it's arriving sooner than expected. Sony Pictures has brought forward the release date from November 8th, 2024 to October 25, 2024.

So you’ll get to see Hardy bicker with the alien symbiote who’s parasitically attached to him two weeks early.

Alongside Hardy, Venom: The Last Dance also stars Juno Temple and, in an as-yet unlisted role, Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Ejiofor plays wizard Baron Mordo in the MCU, most recently featuring in 2022’s Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Could his character be about to make the latest franchise-crossing appearance?

It would be the latest in a long line, much like the possible Deadpool And Wolverine cameo teased by Josh Brolin.
