Which 'The Ultimatum' Couples Are Still Together?Netflix

The Ultimatum is not only Netflix's latest foray into the reality dating show world, but it's definitely one of its best. Created by the people behind Love Is Blind, The Ultimatum asks couples on the verge of a major change in their relationship to...date other people. Season 2 hit the platform last month, and it's dramatic, to say the least.

For those new to the game, here's how it goes: One partner (who wants to get married) has given an ultimatum to the other (who isn't ready yet). Hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey ask the couples to split up and speed date people from other couples. Once they've regrouped into brand new pairs, the duos live together in a "practice marriage" for three weeks.

Next, everyone returns to their OG partner, and the couples try the whole living together thing again for three weeks, but this time with their actual partner. At the end of it all, each pair must decide if they want to get married, split up, or continue dating someone else from the show.

With Season 2 out, and Ultimatum: Queer Love in the rearview, you may be wondering who's still together—and who will probably never speak again. Here's everything to know about where The Ultimatum couples are now, including some Season 2 (potential) spoilers:

Lisa Horne and Brian Okoye: Still Together

Yup. In case you haven't caught the latter half of the newest Ultimatum season, Lisa and Brian are still together. In fact, the couple left the show early after Lisa found out she was pregnant.

After their very rough exit, things were still a little up in the air since they didn't get engaged. But you can rest assured they're still together and seem very happy. "I don't have any regrets in regards to how it worked out, especially with the pregnancy because that has been an amazing journey in itself," Lisa told People in a recent interview.

Now, the couple is parents to a new baby boy, whom they welcomed just seven weeks before the reunion. Both Lisa and Brian show up to talk to the other cast members about their life together, and they also apologize for leaving without any explanation.

Ryann and James: Still together.

You didn't think these high school sweethearts were going to throw away a seven year relationship, did you? These two are happily engaged after James gets down on one knee in the final episode.

But it wasn't an easy road. On the show, James opens up about his past and some personal struggles, and Ryann is there to hold him through it all. James tells everyone at the reunion that he re-proposed to Ryann after the show proposal and they're set to get married in September now. Awww!!

Roxanne and Antonio: Still together.

During their trial marriages, it seemed like Roxanne really hit it off with Alex Chapman, while Antonio and Kat seemed like they were better off as friends. Overall, Roxanne couldn't seem to shake the feeling that Antonio wasn't pursuing enough career-wise. Plus, she's also made it clear that she doesn't want a traditional marriage.

However, things hit the fan with Alex after he told Antonio that he didn't think Roxanne "respected" him (and she heard about it). She ends up back with Antonio, but... it seems super unlikely she is going to say yes when he gets down on one knee. She does, eventually, say yes, but at the reunion, she tells everyone that she doesn't wear her engagement ring.

Everyone seems pretty doubtful that these two will last, but Antonio is opening up a new business, which Roxanne seems to be happy about. Who knows, maybe they truly are a match made in heaven!

Riah and Trey: Still together.

During the first couple switch-up, it seemed like Trey hit it off really quickly with Ryann, another Ultimatum contestant. While Riah and her temporary partner, James, seemed to click more as friends, the fate of Riah and Trey remained unclear for most of the season.

But Trey ended up proposing to Riah at the end of the show, and alls well that ends well for these two! In fact, Riah shared at the reunion special that they plan to get married in the spring of 2025. And that big news was followed up by the information that Riah is pregnant!

On her Instagram, Riah posted a picture of her ultrasound, and wrote: "❤️Next Chapter: Motherhood 👶🏾🍼. These past 5 months have been so sweet and special. From hearing your heartbeat to little flutters and kicks. We cannot wait to meet you. ❤️."

Kat and Alex: Still together.

During the show, Kat didn't seem to hit it off with her trial relationship partner, Antonio. On the other hand, Alex had a lot more of a connection with his partner, Roxanne. So, for a little bit, it seemed like they might opt to switch things up.

However, by episode 8, Roxanne and Alex's new trial relationship ended poorly, and Alex ultimately returned to his OG woman. He proposes to Kat, she says yes, and at the reunion, they tell everyone that they're planning on getting married soon. Hurrah!

Alexis Maloney and Hunter Parr (S1): Still Together

At the beginning of season 1, Alexis gave Hunter a serious ultimatum. She wanted to walk away with a ring on her finger—but he wasn't sure if he was ready to take that step. Then, during speed dating, Alexis started forming connections with a few of the other guys.

But at a dinner with hosts Nick and Vanessa, Hunter decided he couldn't wait any longer. He proposed to Alexis on the spot, and she accepted in a truly aww-worthy moment.

These days, Alexis and Hunter are living together in marital bliss in Los Angeles, California. Their wedding party included 10 bridesmaids, 10 groomsmen and a band rendition of Beyoncé's "Crazy In Love" (because, obviously).

Last year, Alexis told Women's Health what it was like to plan her dream wedding. "I always wanted to get married out here in Los Angeles since I was like five years old," Alexis added. "I used to drive past this chapel, and we're getting married there, so it's kind of like a dream come true."

Living together wasn't easy at first, but the pair say they've grown to love being in each other's company. "I think the beginning was a little bit of like, okay growing pains, but it's been so fun to just cook together every night, work out together, plan our schedules together—it's been so nice," Alexis explained. The couple have now been married for a little over a year, officially tying the knot in June 2022, per E! News. They just celebrated one year together in Paris. Awww.

And, both say they don't regret anything about what happened on the show. "I've been enjoying being engaged to Alexis and starting our life together," Hunter told WH last year. "Yeah. Gold medal for that," Alexis added.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Lauren Pounds and Nathan Ruggles (S1): Still Together

Lauren and Nathan were ready to get married, except for one big issue: Nathan wanted to start a family, while Lauren didn't. The disagreement had spiraled into one of the big rifts in their relationship.

During speed dating, Lauren and Nathan talked their issues through with some of the other cast members. Finally, at the dinner with Nick and Vanessa, Nathan followed Hunter's example and proposed to Lauren. She accepted (despite co-star Colby trying to talk her out of it).

So, what's their 'ship status today? These two are still going strong. After leaving the show together, Nathan found a ring and proposed a second time in Zilker Park in Austin, Texas. "We ended up having a little redo," Lauren told Today.

The pair ended up getting married in Breckinridge, Colorado last October. And, they say couples therapy has helped them work through their different views on starting a family. "It made us see more eye-to-eye. Before, a lot of him was like, 'I want you to understand my side,' and I was like, 'No, I want you to understand my side.' It became this very stubborn conversation where we both just like shut down," Lauren explained.

At the season 1 reunion, Lauren and Nathan said they compromised on one child. But, they're grateful for their time on the show. "I'm thankful for it because I think at the end of the day, it made us realize how much we want each other and want to make things work," she said.

Right now, it looks like the couple is enjoying life together. They've traveled to Mexico, Japan, and Las Vegas in the last year.

Colby Kissinger and Madlyn Ballatori (S1): Still Together

At the beginning of season 1, Colby was head over heels for his girlfriend, while Madlyn thought she might be ready... to marry someone else. The pair were definitely at odds, and Madlyn's instant physical connection with contestant Randall didn't help.

Reconnecting after living apart was difficult for both Madlyn and Colby. The two had their fair share of fights, and at one point it seemed like each was done with the relationship.

So, are they still together now? Yep! After that romantic proposal and on-the-spot wedding, the duo are still happily married—and moving into a new chapter together.

The couple had a daughter, Josie, in May 2022. They're also welcoming a second baby in September. Just in time for season 2, so cute! Based on their Instagram activity, Madlyn and Colby seem super happy, especially after becoming parents to Josie.

"I felt like a champ," Madlyn told E! News of being pregnant. "It gave me a whole new sense of confidence and love for myself and for Colby. It just totally grew me as an individual and us as a couple."

I love this adorable fam!

Randall Griffin and Shanique Imari (S1): Still Together.

Randall and Shanique couldn't make up their minds at the beginning of the season. Each hit it off with another contestant: Randall with Madlyn and Shanique with Zay. Some time apart seemed to strengthen their relationship—but when Shanique asked to see Randall during the process and accused him of not being an equal partner, both walked away angry.

The big question is: Did they break up? Well, the couple took a six month break after their appearance on The Ultimatum. However, they eventually got back together, according to E! News.

And now, there's some big news: Randall just popped the question! Yup. In July, the couple announced that they had gotten engaged. "Yes! Today and all of our tomorrows," Shanique wrote in her post.

You love to see it!

April Marie and Jake Cunningham (S1): Not Together.

April *really* wanted Jake to propose to her at the beginning of season 1. But Jake had recently finished serving in the military and was more interested in traveling and living a little before settling down.

These two had lots of hiccups in their communication. And, Jake really seemed to hit it off with his new partner Rae, while April bonded with Colby. When they got back together, they were still at odds—especially after April admitted to scrolling through Jake's texts when he wasn't looking.

All that aside, April and Jake did eventually go their separate ways after the show ended. But, April is doing just fine on her own and literally just had a new baby girl with her new partner, entrepreneur Cody Cooper. And baby Mila already has her own Instagram, obvi.

"I'm extremely happy. My life is just, it's almost too good to be true," April told Women's Health last year. "I'm with a really good guy who treats me like a queen. I'm so thankful for him and I feel so blessed to be in the relationship that I'm in now."

April says she and Jake did reconnect after filming ended, "but we just knew that it wasn't going anywhere." She's also still friends with Rae, who started a relationship with Jake during their season of The Ultimatum.

And as for Jake and Rae's relationship, the two ended up parting ways—and it's unclear if Jake is currently dating anyone else. He's remained relatively under the radar since the show.

Rae Williams and Zay Wilson (S1): Not Together.

Rae and Zay seemed happy enough at the beginning of season 1, but as the episodes went on, they each formed deep bonds with their new partners. Rae and Jake went on a racetrack date and enjoyed meeting each other's families, while Zay and Shanique grew super close.

Flash forward, and Rae and Zay had a rough transition to reconnecting. The two weren't as close, and it seemed like their relationship was on the rocks. Then, during the finale, Rae chose Jake over Zay. So, did they make it out together?

Rae revealed in the reunion that she tried to fix things with Zay first. But the two ended up parting ways, and Jake and Rae's connection didn't last, either. After coming out as bisexual during the season 1 reunion, Rae revealed that she has since dated an "amazing" woman. "I had a good connection with her, but we kept it casual. But I'm figuring out myself," she added.

As for Zay, he's also still single, but did appear on another series Perfect Match (he was eliminated after episode one). "I thought I knew, but I'm taking my time," the television personality told Women's Health last year.

Fans will just have to wait until August 30 (when the final episodes air) to know what happens at the end of season 2. I'm personally counting down the days...
