As the Best Products Parenting Editor, I've tested every Veer product on the market, from its Switchback to its Cruiser (which is a great jogging stroller). Without question, it's the most innovative baby brand to come out in the past several years. The Veer XL stroller wagon —a delightful combination of a traditional wagon and a stroller, complete with seats and canopies — is a shining example of why the brand is so versatile and family-forward. Here's why.

The Veer Cruiser XL stroller wagon is the most compact four-seater wagon on that market. It's by far the easiest to steer, thanks to a locking handle that can be used to both push and pull. It's also the easiest wagon to clean thanks to the perforations at the bottom and the sturdy fabric that's designed to be hosed off. It's also the most rugged. That's because everything Veer makes is designed for people with outdoor lifestyles (Have you seen its Basecamp beach tent?). You would think this doesn't translate to urban living or even typical suburbia, but I am here to dispel that notion. Veer is as useful as a tool in a trip to a city park as it is globetrotting the backwoods areas of nature.

Here's what I love the most: First, the Cruiser XL four-seater stroller wagon (and their wagons in general) is made to be used hard. The sunken footbed is perforated so that sand, dirt, and junk don't just sit in the stroller; they fall out. Plus, the whole thing is made of materials that can be hosed out in a minute. Personally, I take some gentle laundry soap and a broom, lather it all over (canopy, too), and then hose it off and let it dry. I've done this dozens of times due to the fact that, as much as I love my nieces and nephews, they can totally act like trash goblins from Planet Ew, and even still, the Veer XL Wagon looks pretty damn fantastic. Legit, the only thing I take off before I clean is the extra storage basket. I leave the seat pads on there, and it's been great.

Next up, the wheels are beasts, and so are the tires. They aren't air-filled, so you never need to worry about a flat tire (which can be a total nightmare situation when it comes to strollers). I've also never had to adjust them, unlike other stroller wagons with similar capacities. They've simply never gone out of alignment. Do the wheels get disgusting and occasionally caked in mud and who knows what else? Of course, they do, but so does anything you take to the county fair, especially the children. And me. You can't take me anywhere.

The wagon itself folds up smaller than any other in the category, and it's also the lightest in its class at 36.7 pounds. Made with military-grade aluminum, plastic, and materials, this bad boy can haul some weight — 300 pounds, to be precise. That means that after your offspring or the offspring of the person you're gifting this to have aged out of stroller territory, it is still a darned useful piece of equipment. Especially if you have a dog that needs knee surgery and they're too big for a pet stroller — ask me how I know.

The essentials bundle comes with the wagon, the snack tray, the UPF 50+ canopy, and the additional storage basket, and if you want, you can always add more accessories down the line.
