It’s a little ‘Freaky Friday’ and we can’t get enough.

After her 2022 Christmas movie Falling for ChristmasLindsay Lohan is back on Netflix with a rom-com that has a nod to one of her most beloved films, Freaky Friday. Today, the streamer dropped the very first trailer for Irish Wish, Lohan's upcoming movie, which sees her playing Maddie, a woman whose best friend gets engaged to the man that Maddie assumes is the love of her life — but of course, there's a little snag in the whole thing involving a wish, dramatic music, some swirling flower petals, and general rom-com shenanigans (we can't wait).

Lohan stars alongside Ed Speleers, Alexander Vlahos, Ayesha Curry, Elizabeth Tan, and the legendary Jane Seymour. In addition to what's sure to be more tropes than we can count, there are sweeping vistas of Ireland, giving a dash of travel porn alongside the romantic storyline.

“It’s a nice story of luck and love and confidence,” Lohan told Tudum of the film. "Maddie’s [one of the only] characters that I’ve played [who’s] a woman on her own making her way in the world. We shaped her in a way that she was a bit more insecure in the beginning, and then she grows throughout the movie, and by the end, she really comes into her own."

"It’s important to put yourself first and know your worth," she finished. "If you know you deserve better, go for it and get it."

Lohan told Cosmopolitan that the role is a shift for her and that she wanted to play someone "nerdy."

"It's always evolving. It comes very naturally to me to play a role, especially in a romantic comedy, so it doesn't always feel like work," she said. "But when you really look at the character and how much more you can give people onscreen through the character's eyes, there's so much to play with and change."

Irish Wish reunited Lohan with her Falling For Christmas director, Janeen Damian. That film was Lohan's big return to Hollywood after taking time off to have a baby, opening a beach club in Greece, and decamping to Dubai, where she lives with her husband, Bader Shammas.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about coming back to the entertainment industry, Lohan compared it to "riding a bicycle."

"It's just in me. It's a part of me. Doing films, playing a character, it brings me so much joy to be able to share a story with people. To take people on that journey with me is such a blessing," she said. Lohan also shared that she is "having a wonderful time" working with Netflix, teasing fans with clues to future projects, saying that she's hoping to "dive deeper" in future roles.

Irish Wish arrives on Netflix on Mar. 15.
