• Daenerys killed Varys during the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones, and the internet's reaction is highly LOL.

Time to pour one out for Varys because dude is toast. And I mean that in the most literal way possible because Daenerys straight up roasted him alive for daring to cross her. This dude proved his conniving ways when he wrote a letter spilling the beans about Dany not being the "rightful" heir to the iron throne, and then straight-up tried to convince Jon Snow to betray her.

And naturally Daenerys found out about Varys' betrayal (because Tyrion ratted on him, lol) and she responded in the worst possible away. Casual death! It was rough seeing such a major character die, but come on: we're at the very end of Game of Thrones, and it's pretty much guaranteed that none of our favorites will make it out alive. But still, that hasn't stopped fans from freaking the hell out all over the internet:
