Vanna White's 'Wheel of Fortune' Gown Sparks Reaction Among Fans
One of Vanna White's latest looks has fans buzzing with varying opinions.
In a video uploaded to the official Wheel of Fortune Instagram account on May 17, the longtime game show hostess can be seen doing a subtle twirl to show off her 'fit of the day.
White shows off a brown floor-length gown designed by Christian Siriano, complete with a high neck and ruffle detailing along the sleeves. The bodice of the garb was form-fitting, while the bottom slightly fluted out, flowing into a short train in the back.
"Who are you wearing tonight, Vanna? @csiriano," the clip was captioned, as text over the snippet read: "Vanna White Wearing Christian Siriano."
Surprisingly, the look seems to have divided the internet, with viewers and fans taking to the post's comment section to express their reactions.
"I need this dress asap 😍," one approved, while another said the 66-year-old "always looks lovely!!❤️❤️❤️."
"Gorgeous!!! Vanna is stunning, whatever she wears! Huge fan of hers.😍😊🥰," a third gushed, with a fourth admitting: "Always look forward seeing [to] what Vanna will be wearing ♥️."
"Wish I had even one of her dresses or pantsuits. Love them all 😢," someone else added, while many more noted how "beautiful" the ensemble was or how "gorgeous" she looked.
On the other hand, some didn't care for it at all, penning their impassioned opposition.
"No to this one," one simply stated, as another felt it was "To [sic] drab for a beautiful Southern gal," further suggesting, "Maybe in another color."
"How do you not trip?" an additional commenter wondered.
Yet, the positive comments definitely overpowered the negative ones. One Instagrammer even asked: "Watching your program since 1981...and you and Pat [Sajak] never change..🤔...whats [sic] the recipe?"
And this isn't the first time Vanna has gotten people talking with her fashion statements. In January, she wore another bold get-up that left fans conflicted.
