Vanna White Shares Update About Her Relationship With Her Boyfriend of 12 Years

Vanna White and John Donaldson
Vanna White knows her longtime boyfriend John Donaldson is the one, but there's a reason why she doesn't have plans to marry him.
While speaking to People, the Wheel of Fortune icon shared that she doesn't think it's necessary to tie the knot with Donaldson after over a decade together. "I mean, we've been together 12 years, and I feel like we are married," she explained.
The game show host continued, "Do we have to get married? No, because we feel comfortable in our relationship. You know what I mean? I know that he's the one. He knows I'm the one."
She then noted that they "don't really talk about" the possibility of marriage, but she's not ruling it out, noting, "you never know."
The 66-year-old additionally shared why their relationship works so well, sharing that she sees the JDC Construction + Development Group founder as "the male version" of herself. She added, "We really are very similar. We get along so well. He's easy. He's easy, and he lets me be me, and I let him be him."
They've been a couple since 2012, after meeting through a friend at one of White's barbecues.
White was previously married to restauranteur George Santo Pietro, whom she shares two children with: Nicholas and Gigi. They divorced in 2002 after 12 years of marriage. Before her marriage, she was engaged to Playgirl centerfold John Gibson in the mid-1980s, but he tragically died in an airplane crash. She also was engaged to businessman Michael Kaye from 2004 until 2006, until deciding to split up.
