Vanna White and Ryan Seacrest have been seen together in Hawaii as the Wheel of Fortune veteran and her new co-host prepare for the long-running show’s 42nd season.

Recent paparazzi photos and a video shared by TMZ showed White, Seacrest and a film crew gathered at Oahu’s Waikiki Beach to capture promotional footage.

In the video, Seacrest wears swimming fins, goggles and a snorkel while dressed in a navy T-shirt and shorts. After Seacrest waves at the paparazzi, the video cuts to a shot of him standing in the water next to White, who wears a bright pink top with black pants. Seacrest dives into the water and begins swimming away as White poses for the film crew.

A subsequent clip in the same video shows White and Seacrest standing together and chatting for the camera, presumably to film more promotional content.

The White-Seacrest sightings come months before Wheel of Fortune’s 42nd season, expected to start this fall. It’ll be Seacrest’s first serving as the show’s full-time co-host.

For now, the show is still airing episodes from its 41st season. White and Pat Sajak will continue their decades-old roles as co-hosts for the current season, but it’ll be Sajak’s last. Sajak announced his intention to retire last June, telling viewers it has “been a wonderful ride” but that he’ll be leaving the show after Season 41 wraps in June 2024.

The show revealed that Seacrest will be taking over for Sajak a couple of weeks after the longtime host’s retirement announcement. Seacrest said at the time that he was “truly humbled” to fill the role and admired how Sajak “celebrated the contestants and made viewers at home feel at ease” for more than 40 years.

Sajak has also backed the decision to bring Seacrest in as White’s new co-host, saying last summer that he is “looking forward” to “handing over the car keys to Ryan Seacrest in September of 2024.”
