On the cover of the 21st annual Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue, Amy Adams is wearing Atelier Versace. And Channing Tatum, as he joked, is wearing Amy Adams.

The Foxcatcher and Big Eyes stars join seven other actors, including Wild’s Reese Witherspoon, on this year’s iconic three-panel foldout, with the men wearing bespoke white tie and the women evoking the glamour of Old Hollywood in gold and red gowns.

The cover lineup, in full:

Channing Tatum, star of Foxcatcher, which received five Oscar nominations including best director.

Amy Adams, four-time Oscar nominee and Golden Globe winner for Big Eyes.

Reese Witherspoon, who is Oscar-nominated alongside her Wild co-star Laura Dern.

Eddie Redmayne, a best-actor nominee for his performance as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.

Felicity Jones, a best-actress nominee for her performance as Jane Hawking in The Theory of Everything.

David Oyelowo, star of best-picture nominee Selma.

Benedict Cumberbatch, a best-actor nominee for his performance as Alan Turing in The Imitation Game.

Sienna Miller, star of best-picture nominee American Sniper as well as Foxcatcher.

Miles Teller, star of best-picture nominee Whiplash.

Oscar Isaac, star of National Board of Review winner A Most Violent Year.

Annie Leibovitz has photographed all but three of the Hollywood Issue covers since the first edition debuted, in 1995, and she describes this year’s shoot as “hair-rising” in its intimacy: “Usually you shoot from fairly far away, but we wanted to get really close to the actors. We made an effort to create a feeling of intimacy. I pushed into them, shooting to the left and then the right, coming in as tight as I could.”
