Vanessa Lachey Channels Jack Nicholson in New Instagram Video From 'NCIS' Set

The actress recreated one of Nicholson's most iconic scenes.

Vanessa Lachey is all fun and games when it comes to filming NCIS: Hawai'i.

The actress took to her Instagram on Thursday to share a funny video of herself goofing around on set while she reenacted an iconic scene from The Shining starring Jack Nicholson.

The scene in question was the famous moment in the horror film where the actor broke down the hotel bathroom door and peeked his head through the crack stating the famous line, "Where's Johnny?" 

In Lachey's video, she was on set of NCIS where she peeked her head through a broken glass window, and instead of stating, "Where's Johnny," she said, "All fun and no play makes Jane a dull girl," referring to the moment Jack wrote the phrase over and over again on the typewriter. Although, Lachey actually got the line wrong and corrected herself in the comments, writing, "Yeah yeah… it’s all “work” and no play… told you I’m losing it! Haha! Almost Winter break! Yahoo!!!"

"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy," is a phrase that "appears in its modern form in James Howell's 1659 Proverbs in English, Italian, French and Spanish, but appears to have been in use sometime before that," according to Book Browse. The phrase alludes to people who don't have time off of work, causing them to become bored with their lives.
