While Vanessa Hudgens’ baby bump was on full display at the Oscars (congrats, V!), one thing wasn’t — her pores. The actress’s radiant skin is likely attributed to her new pregnancy glow and a drugstore foundation that’s just $16.

Colourpop’s Pretty Fresh Foundation, available at Target, combines a dewy finish with hydrating skincare benefits, which left Hudgens looking flawless as she hosted the award show red carpet — no primer needed.

Celebrity makeup artist Tonya Brewer created a long-lasting look for Hudgens with help from the skincare and makeup hybrid that combines hyaluronic acid and coconut water for a natural, skin-like finish. While Brewer opted for the shade 100 W for the actress, the moisturizing formula is offered in 29 medium coverage and buildable cool, neutral, and warm colors that diminish fine lines and blur pores.

Using this foundation on a red carpet speaks volumes, considering the bright lights, flashing cameras, and other environmental elements that can affect a formula's staying power. Based on how perfectly her makeup held up throughout the night, it was evidently long-lasting, and shoppers agreed.

One person said it stays put “all day,” even through sweating. Another person called it the “most skin-like foundation” they’ve ever used and said it looked like they had a phone-like “natural filter” on in real life. While the product can be built up for fuller coverage, one reviewer suggests using it as a concealer for lighter makeup days when only slight touch-ups are needed.

If you prefer a lighter coverage, the foundation one reviewer praises the formula for allowing their freckles to “peek through” and opts for the brand’s loose setting powder for areas they want matte. Makeup artist Brewer also used this powder on Vanessa to set the look. Other Colourpop products, including the Bronze Stix, Level Up Mascara, and Lippie Pencil, were used to finish Hudgens' look alongside a body-hugging black gown and a slicked back half-up half-down hairstyle.
