At the start of this year, Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend actor Austin Butler split after close to nine years of dating. Reportedly, they had been talking about getting engaged and were planning their future together seriously. But now, Hudgens appears to be potentially moving on with her love life.

According to People, Hudgens is seeing Los Angeles Lakers player Kyle Kuzma, though they aren't rushing things at all.

"They’re seeing each other, but taking things slow and just having fun at this stage," a source told People.

On Tuesday of this week, the pair were seen at Brooklyn Italian restaurant Lilia. On Wednesday night, Hudgens was seen cheering on Kuzma at his game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Kuzma posted a photo of himself on the court and captioned it "Yeaaaa we like thattttt😎" Hudgens responded, "Ya we doooo🙌🏼."

It makes a lot of sense that Hudgens might want to take things slow with someone new right now. At the time of their breakup news, a source told People that Hudgens and Butler decided to call things off because of their incompatible schedules.

“They really loved each other and have been through some of their toughest life moments together,” the source said. “Busy work schedules and travel definitely put a strain on the relationship. They were a wonderful couple, and it’s really sad that it didn’t work out.”

Another source told E! that the two might not be done for good and that they are "going to see what happens. They have such a history and deep connection they could find their way back to one another. Right now she felt like he needed to go and be single and see if that's what he really wants."

Right now, Hudgens seems to want to spend her time at some Lakers games.
