Vanessa Hudgens Bared Her Baby Bump in a Sheer Gown and Panties at the Oscars After-Party

Hudgens announced her pregnancy just hours earlier.

Just because she's pregnant now, doesn't mean Vanessa Hudgens's sheer style days are behind her. 

Hudgens — who announced she was pregnant with an iconic baby bump reveal at the 2024 Academy Awards in a black body-con turtleneck dress by Vera Wang Couture yesterday evening — moved from one red carpet to the next at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. Switching up her look entirely, the actress changed into a sheer black, bump-baring gown that featured an off-the-shoulder silhouette and an elegant chiffon cape. Hudgens wore nothing but a pair of black panties underneath, and accessorized with black open-toe heels and statement gold earrings. 

In addition to her outfit, Vanessa also changed her hairstyle, swapping her half-up, half-down 'do for a head full of disco curls. Makeup-wise, she kept her pregnancy glow the main focus and added a pink lip and shimmery lids.

Hudgens's baby news comes after she and husband Cole Tucker tied the knot in December 2023 in Tulum, Mexico. They got engaged ten months earlier and first started dating in May 2021 after meeting on a Zoom meditation group during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Just a few days prior to her surprise announcement, Hudgens clapped back at "rude" pregnancy speculation during an episode of the She Pivots podcast, telling the host Emily Tisch Sussman: "Don’t make assumptions in all aspects of life, but especially over other women’s bodies." She added, "I'm sorry I don't wear Spanx every day and, like, am a real woman and have a real body."
