'Vanderpump Rules' Fans, Here's What James Kennedy's Girlfriend Ally Does for a Living

It's time to head back to SUR Restaurant, because drama is already unfolding on Vanderpump Rules season 10. Between all the break-ups and shake-ups, it's hard to keep up with the Bravo cast and their current relationship statuses. But one person is making it easy for audiences — James Kennedy, who introduced his new girlfriend Ally Lewber

Longtime viewers may remember that James was previously involved with Raquel Leviss, who debuted on the series in season 5 and became a full-time cast member in season 9. During their five-year relationship, the couple got engaged in May 2021. But later that December, they announced their split, writing on Instagram that it was their "different goals" that caused their eventual break-up.

While Raquel's love life may be the center of attention during season 10, James' relationship with Ally is just as pivotal. So, who exactly is the DJ's newest love, and how does she fit into the show's circle of friends? Turns out she has her own roots in reality TV, along with being a fan of Vanderpump Rules itself.

According to an official report from Bravo, James and Ally's romance began just a month after breaking up with Raquel. The outlet reported that the couple have Tom Sandoval to thank for their introduction, as they met at a performance of Tom's band The Most Extras.

Already a fan of Vanderpump Rules, Ally actually had her form of reality TV experience before meeting James. She appeared on the reality show The Valley at age 18 back in 2014. That wasn't the last of her taste of fame though, as she modeled and worked for a number of production companies after graduating from Belmont University in 2018 with a degree in entertainment industry studies.

She also writes on her website that she works as a spiritual astrologer, "offering insights into [people's] personal birth charts and planetary alignments to help promote a deeper sense of self-love and acceptance."

During a February 2022 episode of Lala Kent's Give Them Lala podcast, James revealed that he had started a new relationship. "I’m kind of seeing someone," the former SUR employee said at the time. "Look, it’s too early to say honestly [if Ally will join Vanderpump Rules]. I do like this girl, I really do. I don’t know. We’ll see what happens. I can’t ask any girl to do that."

He continued: “With [Ally], I’m taking my time. She gets to choose what she wants to do with that whole situation, and then for me, it’s like, I have to decide as well. What I do know is I’m going to be doing me and I’m going to be f—king enjoying myself. Truly."

James' team eventually confirmed the relationship to Us Weekly in March, with the couple making their public debut at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards that same month. They eventually began posting about their romance on Instagram, showing off moments from trips to Coachella and a number of awards shows. Despite James not knowing if their relationship would make it onto TV, Ally does have a role in the new season of Vanderpump Rules ... and it kicks off with a bang.

According to her character bio on Bravo's website, "Ally met James five weeks after his breakup from Raquel and the two lovebirds have been inseparable ever since. When a surprise revelation about James’ past pops up, Ally finds herself questioning whether or not she can truly trust the unpredictable DJ."

As for what the exact surprise will be, we'll just have to keep watching the new episodes every Thursday night. But it looks like the two are still going strong, thanks to a sweet tribute James posted for Ally on Valentine's Day.

"Happy Valentines Ally 💕 words can’t describe how much I love you!" he wrote on Instagram. "Thanks for an amazing year … I can’t wait to see what this year brings 😘 @allylewber."
