The Vampire Diaries’ Steven R. McQueen Is Engaged to Alexandra Silva
The Vampire Diaries actor Steven R. McQueen is engaged to girlfriend Alexandra Silva, he revealed Thursday, January 25, alongside an adorable Instagram.
McQueen, who played Jeremy Gilbert in the smash CW series from 2009 to 2015, posted a pic of himself kissing his future wife. “She said yes,” he wrote.

Silva, a model, reciprocated the affection with the same snapshot. “My best friend, love of my life…YES, yes yes a million times over,” she wrote Thursday.
McQueen’s character was written out of the series, though his exit was nothing dramatic. HIs character ultimately left Mystic Falls to pursue a career in art. “It feels like a victory, in a way,” writer Brian Young previously told E! News of the decision. “He got out. He made it out and he’s going to be great and succeed in the world.”
Showrunner Julie Plec added in the same interview: “He’s got a standing invite for weddings, funerals, and whatever else comes around.”
