"I’m a Mommy, you guys."

Uzo Aduba, who fans will remember as Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren from Netflix's hit series Orange Is the New Black, is officially a mom. Yesterday, the actress shared that she welcomed her first child, a daughter named Adaiba Lee Nonyem. Aduba, who is 42, is married to filmmaker Robert Sweeting. The couple made a huge splash at the 2023 Tony Awards, where they revealed that Aduba was pregnant on the red carpet.

"My daughter. I’ve never been in love so quickly, so deeply in my entire life," she captioned her Instagram post, which also offered a translation for the new arrival's meaningful name. "I really don’t know what to say, guys. My heart is full. Thank you, God."

Leading up to the birth of their daughter, Aduba shared multiple updates on Instagram, giving her followers a peek into her pregnancy and the Beyoncé concert that came with it.
