Utah Ski Resort Shares Map Of Massive, 3,700 Acre Expansion

Yesterday, a microsite detailing Deer Valley Resort's massive planned terrain expansion began making the rounds online.

The microsite included a map showing when and where the Resort planned to begin installing new lifts.

Here's the map via Deer Valley ambassador Dave Amirault.

And a closer look for those of you who'd prefer to stick around.

On the map, there are a few things to make note of. New planned chairlifts are demarcated in either orange or red. The red chairlifts are part of "Phase 1," slated for completion by the 2025/2026 ski season. The orange chairlifts are part of the "Full Build" phase—the completion date of this phase has yet to be announced.

In addition to the new lifts and terrain, Deer Valley intends to construct another base area dubbed the "Deer Valley East Village," alongside 1,200 new parking spots to accommodate additional skiers.

Currently, Deer Valley has 2,026 acres of skiable terrain and 21 lifts. Once the "Full Build" phase is complete, it will have 5,726 acres of skiable terrain and 37 lifts, more than doubling its size and making it one of the largest ski resorts in North America.
