Utah Resort's Before And After Pictures Show Just How Epic Last Winter Was

Park City Mountain Resort, UT received more snow last season than any in the resort's history. A whopping 610+ inches (50 feet) of snow fell from November to May.

Now, in the middle of summer, the snow has melted out and Park City is donning a fresh coat of green as ample snowmelt is nourishing the foliage. The difference between mid-winter and mid-summer couldn't be more drastic.

Check out the photos below as evidence:

Park City Mountain Resort: "What a difference a few months make ➡️ August 2023 vs. March 2023! This #WinterWednesday we're taking a quick look back at just how much snow we had on the mountain. Back in March - we could barely see Georgeanna!"

It's incredible to think that Park City was literally digging out trail signs just 5 months ago. As a skier, I wish Park City looked like the picture from March all year long, but I guess summer is alright...

Park City was able to stay open until May 1st this past season, their longest season in 30 years. They have yet to announce an intended opening date for this coming season.

Utah wasn't the only place with stunning before and after shots of snowmelt from this past season. Click the link below for photos of the melt in Lake Tahoe from Scott Gaffney:
