Utah Neighbors Gave Their Whole Street a Barbie Halloween Theme

Spooky-cool happenings are going down over on 10893 Lake Island Drive in South Jordan, Utah. We all thought Disney's Halloweentown was a fictional place but apparently, it's actually ALL of Utah. Case en pointe: This street — the entire street — boasts a Barbie Halloween theme.

Perhaps they wanted a cheeky way to call out how the Barbie movie frenzy this year had the iconic doll infiltrating nearly every aspect of our lives. Or, maybe they're all like me and expect one gazillion Barbie costumes to pop out this year and just wanted an entire street to lean in and beat everyone to it.

Nevertheless, consider every Halloween decoration contest complete for the duration of spooky season. The neighbors of Lake Island Drive won with their pink decor and it's not even close. Somebody bring out the skeleton trophies!

People in the comments — including neighbors on the street and their children — are going wild over this hilarious team effort.

One resident on the street shouted out their mom's home in the video. "My mom's house is 'Barbie Barn'!!!" they wrote underneath the post. "It’s sooo cute 🐄 🐥. Everyone on the street did such an amazing job! It’s a must-see! 💓"

"I’m living in the wrong street," another commenter wrote. "Imagine being this tight with all of your neighbors." Ditto. Good neighbors truly are a blessing; they make a community great.

Apparently, Halloween isn't just a huge deal on this street. Utah, in general, holds the holiday dearly.

"I didn't even see this was @Slcfoodie and I was like, 'how much you wanna bet this is a Utah thing 😂," a native mused.

"I grew up in Utah and Halloween there is unmatched," another commenter from the area chimed in. "My mom used to decorate the whole garage and we'd make dry ice root beer, scones, and homemade chili for everyone in the neighborhood. Halloween was always my mom's Christmas and now I'm going to fly home every Halloween for my kiddos to enjoy it there😂."

Maybe we all should all fly into Utah because clearly, they know the recipe for having the happiest of Halloweens.
