Doro Bet in Philadelphia made USA TODAY’s list of best restaurants in the country.
The USA TODAY Restaurants of the Year 2024 list, released today, features 47 restaurants from fine-dining establishments to counter-service seafood shacks.
"Oh my gosh, that's amazing. I don't know what I did to deserve this, but that's wonderful news." said Doro Bet co-owner Mebruka Kane when told her restaurant had made the list.
USA TODAY Network food journalists from across the country pooled their expertise to select the list, which includes the places they know, love and recommend.
Our criteria for USA TODAY's Restaurants of the Year for 2024
Doro Bet was chosen because of Kane's delicious invention of Ethiopian fried chicken.
