Just one look at her left him stunned and speechless.

Despite being an Emmy-winning, critically-acclaimed actor himself, Sterling K. Brown was totally stunned upon seeing one well-known actress in person.

Brown, who recently finished up his hit show This Is Us, stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his new movie, Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul.

While there, he discussed his experiences meeting fans out and about in New York City. When the conversation touched on super excited, passionate fans, Fallon asked Brown, "Is there any celeb that you have not met yet where you were like, 'I would freak out?'"

Brown had an immediate answer: Meryl Streep.

He told Fallon, "I’ve been in the presence of Streep three times. You don’t need a first name. You know who I’m talking about."

Brown described one of those times, sharing, "One time I was working at the Public [Theater], and she was doing something else at the Public, and she was just talking to people."

The 46-year-old then stood up to act out the encounter, even directing the camera to follow him, and said, "I was just standing there like, 'It’s Streep, y’all.’ And she’s just talking, being regular old Streep, and I’m like, ‘No, I can’t, I don’t know."

Recalling how absolutely starstruck he was, Brown said, "I didn’t—I couldn’t talk. I just lurked. I was weird. I was a creeper.”

He explained that surprisingly, he still hasn't officially met Streep, despite attending many of the same big Hollywood events as her.

Brown stated, "I'm looking forward to somebody who knows both of us to hopefully give me an introduction."

Fallon offered the actor his support, telling Brown, "I think you two will hit it off."

Brown hasn't had the chance to work with Streep yet in his career, though considering his steady upward trajectory in popularity and stardom, it's likely only a matter of time.
