US Ski Team Shows Off Soccer Skills Ahead Of Women's World Cup Match
The 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup is underway with the United States Women's National Team playing their first match tonight, July 21st, 2023. As the #1 ranked team in the world, all eyes are on our ladies to win their fifth World Cup.
In celebration of tonight's opening match again Vietnam, members of the US Ski Team filmed a funny video where they showed off their soccer skills, or lack thereof.

On a personal note, that video ticked all of my boxes. As a kid from Delaware, skiing wasn't easily accessible and therefore soccer was my first love.
I dreamed of scoring a header like Cristiano Ronaldo or defending a cross like Giorgio Chiellini long before my eyes were set on skiing. My interests have shifted, but I still love to watch and play soccer whenever I can.
That's why I'm asking for all of you lovely Powder Magazine readers to join me this evening as I support our ladies' campaign to secure that coveted World Cup trophy.
