'This Is Us' Fans Are Having Major Season 1 Flashbacks After Seeing Mandy Moore’s New Instagram

It may be only one year since This Is Us ended, but Mandy Moore's latest Instagram up has fans thinking otherwise.
The TV actress recently documented a hairstyle change on the social media platform, shortly after wrapping season 2 of her upcoming show Dr. Death. Mandy debuted shoulder-length chocolate brown hair that transitioned into a caramel color at the ends. The new look also featured feathered side bangs that framed her face. As for the reason behind the switch up, the A Walk to Remember star admitted it came from a place of needing to do something stylistically different.
"I’ve been itching for a hair change for a loooooong time and lucky for me, my sweetest @streicherhair was in town and fit me in," she wrote on April 24 while tagging her hair stylist Ashley Streicher and her friend Cristina Thompson in the photos. "Love you, Ash. And never mad at a @cithomps visit too!! 💇♀️."
While fans know This Is Us isn't coming back after six seasons, Mandy's new chop had them going down memory lane. When they noticed the updated hairdo, many immediately voiced how they felt transported back to the NBC drama.

"Giving me This is Us season 1 vibes 😍," one person wrote in the comments section. "It’s giving young Rebecca vibes, love it!! ❤️," another fan added, referencing her character on the show. "OMGGGGG MANDY!!!! You look fabulous!!! It's giving Rebecca season 1 vibes and I love it (although it's kinda bittersweet because I miss her and the show terribly 😭)! This hair change was a great idea 😍," a different user exclaimed.
Even though Mandy says that this look is a big change for her, this isn't the only time she has opted for bangs in recent years. A few months after welcoming now 2-year-old son August "Gus" Harrison with husband Taylor Goldsmith (they also share son Oscar "Ozzie" Bennett, 6 months), she walked the red carpet with similar bangs at the 2021 Emmy Awards.
Television or in real-life, Mandy always knows how to create a moment ... even when it's just a small change to her look.
