My Unorthodox Life is back for a second wild season, and it dives back into the life of fashion mogul Julia Haart and her four children. In case you're new to the show, a quick recap: In season 1, Julia talks a lot about how she fled her life in an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community in Monsey, New York, creating a new life for herself as a fashion designer, sex-positive queen, and high-powered CEO of Elite World Group, a modeling management agency.

Now, the show is back for round two, but not without some major life updates and change-ups in the cast. For one, Julia was fired from Elite World Group and is no longer CEO. And for another, she and her husband, Silvio Scaglia, are in the middle of a nasty divorce (so you won't see a lot of him).

But there have also been some fun, heartwarming, new developments, like the apparance of one Ra’ed Saade, who is introduced as a new boo for one of the existing cast members. Ra'ed quickly takes the Haart's world by storm, leaving everyone wondering who, exactly, this man is. Well, here’s everything you need to know about Ra'ed. And spoiler: If he looks familiar, you may have seen him on a reality show before.

Who is Ra’ed?

This season viewers meet the charismatic, loud-and-proud, artistic Ra'ed Saade, who happens to be the new boyfriend of Elite World Group's former COO, Robert Brotherton. Ra’ed and Robert are actually old friends who are trying out an open relationship. At one point, Ra’ed even suggests that Robert go out and date more men, because he's been meeting lots of cuties at his gym.

The open relationship becomes a point of tension in season 2, with the Haart family weighing in. But it looks like these two love birds have sorted things out on their end...but more on that in a second.

Ra'ed is Lebanese and he went to Syracuse University, per LinkedIn, which is where he and Robert first met. Ra'ed graduated in 2009 with a degree in music business and vocal performance. He also has a master's degree in classical vocal performance from the Manhattan School of Music.

What does Ra'ed do for work?

He says on Instagram that he’s “corporate by day and vocal performer/entertainer by night,” which is kind of vague. Thankfully, his LinkedIn profile provides some context. His most recent job—which he may still be working for—is listed as the social media marketing manager for Fully Bully Sticks LLC, a company that sells dog treats. Ra'ed also worked as Robert’s personal assistant at Elite Model Management in August of 2020, per Bustle.

When he lived in Los Angeles, Ra'ed used to work as an LA Opera fundraising campaign manager, a live music event producer, and a hospitality manager, per Bustle.

Wait, have I seen him before?

You might have! Ra’ed went on America’s Got Talent in 2019 with an act as an opera singer and whistler, but got buzzed out. Womp womp.

He also appeared on The Voice: Arabia in 2015, and made it to the Battle Rounds. Ra'ed continued his reality stint by competing on Let’s Make a Deal in 2016, and The Gong Show in July of 2017, per Bustle. So, clearly, he was cut out for this kind of show.

Are Ra’ed and Robert still together?

Spoiler alert: Robert and Ra’ed actually get engaged during the finale. And, it seems, they’re still engaged, based on this Instagram post he just dropped.

What is Ra’ed’s net worth?

It’s not clear. Given how much he appeared on the show, Ra’ed likely made some cash starring on My Unorthodox Life, but it’s hard to say how much he might have gotten paid. Ra'ed also probably makes money from his day job and singing gigs, but there's no way to know how much that brings in. Either way, he and Robert seem very happy these days. Congrats to the fiancés!

My Unorthodox Life season 2 is streaming now on Netflix.
