UNO and Kartell Unite for Design-Focused Gameplay

Since their 1971 creation, UNO cards have been a gaming mainstay across the world – regardless of what rules you play by. But over the years the game has enhanced its style through a caliber or collaborations including the likes of Takashi Murakami, Marvel, Shepard Fairey, Keith Haring, Nina Chanel Abney and more. For its latest collaboration, UNO has teamed up with Kartell for a new limited-edition makeover.

By teaming up with the Italian company that specializes in plastic contemporary furniture, the new collaboration blends the spaces of design and gameplay. Appearing in light pastel shades, the deck of cards features a range of pieces like the Philippe Starck Gnome Side Table as a wild card, Anna Castelli Ferrieri's I Componibili as a draw four wild card, Starck's Louis Ghost chair and Ron Arad's Bookworm bookcase.

The lot of other Kartell chairs, lamps and accessories line the remainder of the deck's numerical cards. The deck's light-hued personality is complimented by sans-serif script for an overall clean look – a perfect touch for a design-orientated collaboration.

Check out the deck in the gallery above. The UNO x Kartell collaboration is available now online for $30 USD.
