UNLV offers new Young Rebels summer camp options for K-12 students

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – As the end of the school year nears more options are being offered to students looking to tackle new projects this summer.

UNLV is offering summer camps for K-12 students which can give many a chance to head to campus to experience being part of a leading research university and discovering paths that could lead to future careers.

From building robots to becoming a cyber detective, or learning how to code, UNLV is offering several opportunities through its Young Rebels program. It allows parents to access youth programming offered by multiple colleges throughout the university and provides a one-stop-shop registration process.

Young Rebels offers dozens of summer programs for elementary, middle, or high school students that spark critical thinking, foster academically minded friendships, facilitate positive interactions with university faculty and students, and build college readiness.  This year, six new programs are also being offered through UNLV as well.
