Unlikely Friendship Between Golden Retriever and Deer Is Stealing Hearts

This has some Disney movie potential.

Every so often, two different animals will cross paths. An unusual and rare moment. You wouldn't expect that those unexpected animals will keep seeing each other again and again. But, very much to our surprise, TikTok user @kapandchief just so happened to catch multiple moments of two unlikely friends.

Her Golden Retriever befriended an unlikely wild animal - a deer. You may have seen deer and dogs meet before, but these two didn't stop at one meeting. The two of them hang out time and time again. It's no wonder this clip has over 3.1 million views within the first day. Check it out!

Aww! Is there a new Disney movie out that no one told us about!? Because seriously, this has the potential to be a new movie. There's no doubt in our minds that it would be a box-office hit!

We do wonder, though, what these two besties talk about each time the deer visits. TikTokers are speculating. @gayplantlover wrote, "She tells him about being free and he tells her about being loved by people. Disney material." Aww! Exchanging stories, we love that! @rusteejames added, "I think that deer tells many stories to the dog about what it's like out there. They are definitely friends it seems." Absolutely!

"They were soulmates in a past life no doubt," said @xmothshawtyx. We believe that with all our hearts! @amyelizabeth commented, "Your dog has such gentle energy. That's why the deer trusts." That clearly must be the case because otherwise, the deer wouldn't keep coming back. And we truly can't wait to see more of this unlikely, but beautiful friendship!
