Unless you’re John Boyega and you’re attending screenings of your own film in order to surprise fans, a celebrity going to see a movie in a theater on a whim isn’t that easy. But Cara Delevingne, like millions of others, just wanted to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens. So instead of working her connections for a DVD, a download link, or a ticket to the premiere, the model instead decided to go incognito.
Just like other fans who dressed up for the main event, the actress showed up in full themed gear. “Watching Star Wars in style,” she captioned an image of her at the cinema wearing a Jabba the Hutt blow-up costume and carrying a lightsaber.
Never mind the plot discrepancies of her outfit, it’s a pretty genius way to avoid being noticed. Let’s just hope she took the mask off as soon as the lights went down.
