Universal's Halloween Horror Nights Are Officially Back

After a pandemic-induced year hiatus, Universal Studios has announced that the return of the iconically frightful "Halloween Horror Nights" is happening this fall. Please excuse me for one second while I collect myself!

Touching down at both the Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, the almost two month scare-fest returns right in time for the event's 30th anniversary. That's 30 whole years of scaring the pants off of people, y'all! And of course, they aren't doing it without pulling out all of the impressive and ghoulish stops. So, what can you expect if you plan on visiting this year? A night filled of squeals and screams, duh!

This year, HHN is basing its number of horrific haunted houses and those macabre mazes on all of your favorite iconic horror films and TV shows like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Beetlejuice, and The Bride of Frankenstein. They've even collaborated with Netflix to deliver a one-of-a-kind maze experience based on the hit show The Haunting of Hill House.

In addition to the chilling new mazes, Universal is bringing back one of the OG fright masters of the park, Jack the Clown, to wreak havoc on parkgoers for the duration of the event. How delightfully frightening!

The spooktacular event kicks off on September 3 at Universal's Orlando location and on September 9 in Hollywood and will both run on select dates through Halloween night. You can find more information about how to purchase tickets in advance here.

Get ready for a smashing good time, y'all!
