Unique brat pizza, seasonal salads among new food items at Lambeau for Packers season

GREEN BAY- When you visit Lambeau Field, you expect to find beer, brats, burgers and ... salads? They're all on the menu this year, along with a host of other new, delicious items — including a pizza you'll only find at the stadium.

Delaware North, the food service and hospitality management company for Lambeau Field, unveiled 11 new food items available at concession and food stands throughout the football stadium this year.

Among them is the Tailgater Specialty Pizza, specially designed pizza for Lambeau Field, only. It is made by taking a Brew Pub Lottza Motzza pizza and topping it with bacon, brats, caramelized onions and mustard cheese sauce. It will sell for for $8.49 a slice and can be found in sections 107 (outer), 123, 305, 312, 331 and 427.

"We did a lot of testing," said executive chef for Delaware North at Lambeau, Zac Ladubec. "Being from Wisconsin and frozen pizza being so big, it was really fun to go through that process."

Additionally, the stadium is introducing its first seasonal fresh salads, and different salad options will be introduced and swapped out as the football season progresses.

Currently, fans will be able to try a fresh Fall salad, made with romaine lettuce, pecans, dried cranberries, red onion, feta cheese, butternut squash and poppy seed dressing for $11.99. It can be found in sections 138 (outer), 100 (outer), 331, 312, 686 Cenex Kitchen and 690 Belin Fresh.

"This is the first year we are offering salads to this extreme," Ladubec said. "We've heard feedback that people want fresher options."

Ladubec said the goal for this year was to introduce new, fun food ideas that were still practical for fans to enjoy while they watch the football game.

"The hope is that we're getting people in and out and back to their seats so they're missing less of the game," Ladubec said. "Fresher products are right in front of you; grab what you want, shorten the lines up and just make it a faster experience."

Here are the other new menu items Packers fans can expect to find at Lambeau Field this year, and where to find them:

Special Teams brat

  • What: A Johnsonville brat topped with Coca-Cola-caramelized onions, sauerkraut, bacon, and BBQ aioli on a pretzel brat bun.

  • Price: $13.29

Burnt ends

  • What: Caramelized andouille Johnsonville sausage tossed in a sweet and savory BBQ sauce.

  • Price: $11.49

Mozzarella stick grilled cheese

  • What: This sandwich is made from battered mozzarella sticks, topped with marinara, pepperoni and shredded mozzarella between two pieces of sourdough bread.

  • Price: $14.49

  • Where: 138 (outer), 100 (outer), 308

Garlic knots

  • What: Knotted breadsticks topped with garlic and parmesan and served with a cup of warm marinara sauce.

  • Price: $9.99

Huddle Up HOT chicken sandwich

  • What: A breaded chicken breast seasoned with Mike's Hot Honey and Huddle Up spice, topped with bread and butter pickles and garlic aioli on a Brioche bun. Served with salt and pepper potato chips.

Hot honey chicken tenders

  • What: Tyson chicken tenders covered in Mike's Hot Honey.

Pastrami sub

Chopped Italian sub

  • What: A blend of ham, salami, pepperoni, Provolone, creamy Italian dressing, banana peppers, shredded lettuce, tomato and red onions chopped and placed onto a sub bun. Comes in the rookie or veteran sizes.

  • Where: 131 (outer)

Northwood's fish fry

  • What: Battered and fried pollack, served with tarter sauce, a lemon and French fries.

  • Price: $15.49
