Local news station makes really embarrassing typo and Twitter can't stop laughing
The “C” on the keyboard is dangerously close to the “X” button, as one worker at CBS 42 in Birmingham had the unfortunate experience in learning.
On March 17, the Auburn Tigers won their first Southeastern Conference tournament championship since 1985, but a Birmingham TV station didn’t crown them the “SEC Tournament” winners. Instead, a typo gave them a much more salacious title.

The college basketball team won a “sex tournament,” according to the outlet’s mistake.
Auburn will be heading into the NCAA Tournaments as the number five seed and will face off against the number 12 seed, New Mexico State. The Tigers are favored to win. In the meantime, several people on social media are having fun posting jokes about the typo title.
“The competition must not have been as stiff this year. Way to keep it up Auburn!” one person shared on Facebook.
“Safe to say they have changed their rally cry from war eagle to spread eagle?” a Twitter user respectively quipped.
Others added commentary to a photo of Auburn coach Bruce Pearl.
